Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day.

The awesome co-hosts for the April 5 posting of the IWSG will be Chris @ Madness of a Modern Writer, Madeline Mora-Summonte, Fundy Blue, and Chrys Fey!

I completely missed last month’s IWSG? Where did March go? Apologies folks. I’ve been so busy here. We’re having an extension built on the kitchen and it’s been a noisy, dusty, disrupting mare! I’m also still compiling my 2oth Century Poetry portfolio for the module assignment (yes, still slogging away at it). The poetry book is coming along (although I still suck), as is my author statement of poetics (for those who care, I’ve classified myself as Confessionalist/Imagist, although there are overlaps). I can’t see this work getting me another Distinction grade, at all, what-so-ever. My great start elevated me to giddy heights only to fling me weeping to the grown.

Ho (sobbing uncontrollably) hum.

Anyway, I have a treat for those of you, like me, who suffer with stress and anxiety, either in general, or more specifically, with their writing, publishing and manic-schedules (seriously, why do we do this to ourselves?). Brace yourself for great advice (and try to put at least a few of these into practice). 🙂
