Lexa Cain is the wonderful host of this meme, so start there. Go HERE to sign up and find the other hoppers.  Then each Friday, post on your blog something you wish to celebrate achieving / doing that week.

Here’s mine . . .

Today, I’m celebrating PROMOTION! Yes, I know, I hate marketing and book promotion in all its guises, but my first book published under my romance pseudonym needs help. I saw the following giveaway in honour of Black Friday and thought it might be a good idea to get involved. (It might not, but I won’t know till I try.) I’ll let you know if I gain any exposure or sales from inclusion.

It’s also something you might want to know about, if you like the idea of winning prizes! There are loads of bargain books on offer, and we are all avid readers, right? 🙂

Plus, you get the chance to ….

I paid $39 to be part of the $500 Black Friday Giveaway during 11/15 – 11/25.

To increase traffic to this giveaway, Kindle Book Review (and its sponsors – like me) are promoting their Home page, drawing traffic with a total of $900 in Black Friday Giveaways.

**Two lucky participants will be very happy!**

Of course, I’m hoping more than anything that this promotion offers well-needed exposure to the romance novella I recently released. We’ll see. 🙂

If you’d like to help promote the giveaway I’m sponsoring, you might like to click and tweet the following:

I’ve heard mixed things about giveaways, so it will be interesting to see what your results are. I’m hoping you’ll get massive exposure 😉

I’ve known a few people who participated in big giveaways. They did get exposure but it didn’t translate to sales. I hope you’re luckier than they were, and I hope you have a lovely weekend! 🙂

I didn’t get many sales, but I did get 156 email subscribers for my new psuedonym. Not bad if they stick around. Would I do it again? Yeah, I think I would.

Dread: A Horror Collection

This is a deeply unsettling collection of British horror. Each story features a post-apocalyptic theme, though each is starkly different from the other.

A Slow Burn:
“I will admit to having read this with the lights well and truly on!! Such vivid imagery[…]I highly recommend this novella to all lovers of this genre.”

The Dead Party:
“One of the best political satires that I’ve come across in a long time!”

Rosa and Bella’s Journal Of Decline:
“Brilliant and addictive. Yet another fantastic book from this author.”
