Hello all. This is the last post for a week as I’m off on my not-so-jollies to my little sister’s Hen weekend in Portugal for three nights on Friday. I’m the oldest by over a decade, so it could be interesting.
Some of you will know my body is notoriously bad at temperature control (passing out with heat exhaustion is my thang) and as an introvert, loud parties (with music I loathe – dance tunes) are no fun. Also, although I do not fear flying, I do get claustrophobic and the last time I flew to Portugal economy class I had three (yes three!!) panic attacks in a row BEFORE we even left the ground. Three hours of hell ensued.
I’ve already said ‘no thanks’ to a paint party which begins at 1am and continues to 7am; a ‘boozy-barge’ (three hours on a loud overcrowded boat with intoxicated young folk, booming dance music, all under the scorching sunshine), and hours of sunbathing (unless there’s plenty of shade and somewhere close where I can access A/C). I’m hoping my sister doesn’t regret inviting me by the end of it. 🙂
At least there are eight of us in attendance, so my saying no to events won’t prevent her (who is 14 years younger than me BTW) from doing anything she wants to do. 🙂 My other sister, also a fussy neurotic (and bipolar sufferer with ‘anxieties’) is so far saying no to the same things as me, so we can grumble with each other in the shade. 😉
Wish me luck! *internallyscreaming.
Anyway, I bring to you a FREE science fiction book – how cool is that? Read on to find out all about it…
The next step in evolution for the human race is about to begin, technology has advanced to the point where instant learning is almost a reality. The big question is who will own the technology? Will it be Lucan Taylor with his dreams of helping humanity to grow as a species? Or will it be the power hungry CEO of AXIOM corporation trying to control the world?
This is the first of three books that will take you on a journey that will change the way we look at the human brain. Explore surreal worlds inside Lucan’s mind, discover the conspiracy behind an awful accident, and watch a doctor trying helplessly to save his patient. But they are not alone, a strange small man who smokes to much and smiles is the key behind everything.
OoBE is filled with unique characters and complex situations that will unravel the mystery of Neurotopography. A new science that will someday redefine humanity as we know it.
If you like mystery thrillers, science fiction and a little bit of romance, then this book will tell the story of a lifetime.
A little taste of what’s to come:
What some of the readers have said:
“Strong unique characters that evolve with the reader and the story…”
“Mind boggling concepts, the book makes you question the way you see reality…”
“Just plain awesome!”
