My first update in a while is the first step in me clawing my way back to my WIP. It is alone, lonely, lingering and lousy with the need of a big re-write. I’m tired of disruptions and wonder how all you get time, make time, against all odds, to write. I’m almost there. I’m almost back to normality. My final house guest are leaving tomorrow and I will start tomorrow with a brand new determination. I’m kicking excuses and disruptions to the curb. My poor neglected WIP deserves my full and undisturbed attention.
As with my other commitments, such as ROW80, my blogging pals who’ve supported me in spite of my absence. I will be visiting you!! Thanks so much. 😀
My ROW80 updates 🙂
Shah the Willing Writer
I’ve not been back long and still have house guests, but once they’re gone (tomorrow) I’m on it! I’ve also wrote a guest post I’m looking to post somewhere.
Shah the Marketing Wizz
I’ve done a few things here and there. Readers Favourite are going to review my book in a few weeks! Yey! And I sent out a few enquiries to Indie Book Reviews and another blog tour is being planned as we speak. This one will be a reviews only one for a week, but will hopefully coincide with the launch of Finding Esta in print! Can’t wait to get a copy in my hands. 🙂
Shah the Imperfect Publisher
Okay – I need your advice.
Who of you have used KDP select successfully and could you explain to me why cancelling distribution everywhere else to be exclusive to Amazon is a good thing. I get that with the FREE offer of five day might boot my sales up in one area and manipulate my sales stats, but is there much proof this still works and what of the rest of the 90 days of exclusivity?
Please! Me – layman, you – professional. Help! 🙂

I’ve been incredibly slack on this front too, mainly because of being constantly taken from my computer. Grr! House guests, holidays, Bobby, you name it, I’m peeved with it. Well, not Bobby. Never him. I’m trying to get back into the flow of writing more blog posts, getting onboard with the ROW80 updates, and of course, what I’ve missed most, your blogs. I will make it up to you.
I’m still loving my new theme, but it’s all change behind the scenes now. I’m moving from iPage to Jami Gold’s Techi Guys. They ROCK so far, regarding customer service and I’m excited to try out the rest of their services. Watch this space! 🙂

At Shah’s Scribbles I changed the theme and reblogged #atozchallenge T is for Time Management for Writers because I enjoyed the article and thought it resonated with writers. I also wanted content and had no time to write some myself. I don’t mind supporting other writers with the odd reblog mind you.
At PHOTOGRAPHY & COVERS (new title and blog theme) I posted
- Nothing new, but I have changed the book cover I blogged about – the one for the print edition – so I’ll need to amend that.
Shah the Ready Reader
I need to review Katie Salidas Immortalis Carpe Noctem (Immortalis Vampire Series #1). I’m also trying to read the Forbidden Trilogy by Kimberly Kinrade for I.O Book Tours. I still haven’t gotten to read the last few books of the Sookie Stackhouse series – I’m longing to get stuck into them, but I think I’ll be taking them to Phuket in June.
Shah the Fitness Superhero (or not!)
I’ve tried to eat less and even popped to the gym the other day. But in all honesty, I need to get back in shape once my homelife settles down finally. Hurrah! Tomorrow should be the first day of normality in four months. 🙂
