ROW80 Button
Yeah! Tomorrow is the beginning of my blog barrage to promote my book. I should be stoked or chuffed or a teeny bit excited, instead I have a migraine, just thinking about it. The poor reviewers have had a runaround because of the recent MS crisis, so heaven knows what their reviews will say. To say I’m terrified is an understatement. I just hope they’re forgiving and understand the situation enough to judge the books fairly and pick up on it’s positive attributes, not on the oversights. Anyway, we’ll see.
I’ve included the tour information and whatnot for newer readers visiting today. Other’s of you have either read it or know about my book already – you can bypass this altogether if you prefer and skip to the ROW80 post below.

An unusual young woman and fledgling journalist, Luna has various restrictive oddities, all of which prevent any kind of physical intimacy. Abusive parents take pleasure in Luna’s misery and isolation, yet Luna strives to make them proud, to finally earn their elusive love – something she craves almost as much as the painless touch of a lover.
When she learns of a tragic story involving the kidnap of baby Esta, she jumps at the chance to investigate, dragging her Shadows along for the ride within the murky depths of her mind.
Meanwhile, a dark stranger visits Luna’s dreams and stalks her reality. In lieu of the real thing, their intimate moments excite rather than terrify. Nestled within his presence, she begins to sense an urgent message of danger – a message she struggles to interpret, until they finally meet….
Her investigations lead Luna to a vibrant seaside town, hiding copycat aliens and an underworld of Supernaturals. Here, she comes face-to-face with her own, terrifying identity. Confronted with life-changing decisions and the harshest of truths, Luna questions her sanity, searching for logic, feeling deceived by both.
Is Luna trapped in a newfound supernatural world, or within her own delusions? And will anyone care enough to save her?

Apart from blog posts and emails, and a few changes here and there on my MS, no actual writing. Well, I did say next week.
Shah the Marketing Wizz
Well, I think this is already apparent, as my main marketing has been in the preparation of my Virtual Blog Tour!
See above. X

Still juggling research about getting around the TAX issue, and refining my MS. I’ve checked through it twice now, and think that once the lovely Shan has given me her notes, it’ll be as perfect as can be, without being perfect because, as I keep asking myself – what is? Once done, I’ll upload it at draft2digital, and I’ll get it formatted for print and up on Createspace. I need final measurements for my cover designer to get working on that. Looking forward to that as I’m going to buy a load of them and give them to my poor, unsuspecting family in April when I visit them in the UK.
*Cheesy Grin Alert!*

I scheduled a few posts. One of which I’d love you to click on: “What if you couldn’t promote your book?” and share, in support of a very special woman and her child. A fellow indie author who lost her fight with cancer but not before she published her her blog about the last 7 months of her life. And extraordinary tale of strength and a huge inspiration to us all.
Still reading this book. Click this for my book review of Michel Prince’s ‘CHRYSALIS’
Shah the Fitness Superhero (or not?)
Forgot to put this on before, and although I’ve little to report other than keeping up with medication, eating lots of fish, cutting back on alcohol (apart from yesterday when we went for brunch with friends – here brunches are BIG events and last fours hours. You pay up front and eat/drink all your like. Trouble is I drank but didn’t really eat. Not a great mix and well, I’ve been suffering for it this morning. Here’s us at the brunch, a bit tipsy actually. Hiccup!

Sounds like fun. Hope all go well
So excited for your virtual book tour and to hear how the marketing efforts go. I have the book and can’t wait to read it. Just have to make some compromises with my sometimes-friend, sometimes-enemy, Time. Wishing you all the best!! Please share with all of us what you find works and doesn’t work in the marketing realm. It’s all so fascinating!

I will, but maths isn’t something I have mastered so it’ll all be guess-work.
I’ll keep on plugging at various marketing ideas and hope in accumulation, they work.
BTW – if you bought my book last week or previously, please allow me to replace it. X

Wow, congrats! I’ve never gotten my act together enough to organize a virtual book tour! The mere idea defeats me before I even start.
Good luck!

Ruth – Liz at CBLS does all the organising, so it’s pretty simple. Apart form when my crisis occurred and then I had to faff about replacing the MS and extracts. They still don’t have the latest copy, but at least the chapters were in the right order. Liz doesn’t charge the earth either, like some tour companies.
The book sounds so interesting, like nothing I’ve ever read! I hope everything goes smoothly–all the reviews etc. This is really exciting–and love the pics!

Oh that’s lovely, thanks. I’m trying to sit back and enjoy it, but hey… can’t help fearing the possibility of hell falling on my shoulders.
