Writing: I received more of my editors notes since last update a week ago and I have been working on the comments and suggestions, accepting the changes and making others. She confessed she might have to take till the end of the month to complete however, as her original prediction of 20th November was a little conservative. I did wonder, its a 125k MS after all. This is still EXCELLENT because along with the chunks of work she’s sending as she completes them, I still get time to go through it once more, get it formatted and publish it, all before December 21st (winter). Finding Esta should therefore be ready and up for sale before Christmas, and within the promotional Autumn deadline. Hurrah!
NaNoWriMo: I’m (re)writing Finding Luna, The Supes Series Book 2 (which I wrote for my first #NaNoWriMo last year). It was going really well, and when I get into it it still does, but wanted to get my edits done as I receive them means I’m extremely distracted. I’m barely on target to complete the MS by the end of this month at 35k! 🙁
Reading: MY NEW KINDLE FIRE HD still ROCKS! I read Redemption for review, which I liked, and I’ve begun The Reinfield Syndrome by J.A. Assre, which is really great so far and features a kick ass heroine, werewolves, time-travel and vampires. I’m also still sporadically reading Scrivener for Dummies (great resource) as and when, plus various other writing ebooks I’ve accumulated on my Kindle archive.
Blogging: Still trying to fit visits in as and when. Trying to keep on top of all the posts and those of others. I’m failing abysmally however… I’ll do better in December – promise. 🙂
Social Networking: Still sharing and commenting, mostly on Facebook. But when Triberr works it means I share around a 80-100 post a day.
Bobby: We’ve secured and paid for his 16 nights/17 days stay while we do UK and VEGAS Dec/Jan. We have explored various options and seen some vile kennels, but where we’ve chosen Posh Paws is more of a farm, secure, well run by caring owners and their staff. He will be played with, cleaned, well fed and enjoy a peaceful rest in his own kennel at night. We still feel rotten, but there is no one here to look after him for us (although this will change when Davids sister and husband move out here in the Spring, with there dog).
House Guests: They left Monday a.m.
Health: After the guest left, we immediately flipped back to our usual healthy diet of fish, greens, and much less vino. I also went to the gym and have been out for a few walks with the Hubs and Bobby.
fiftyfifty.me: I may quit updating the movies – it’s becoming a drag; I watch so many. The challenge only required 50 in the year and I’ve watched 3 x’s that if not more. The reading is coming along though, and I really need to update the list and Pinterest, and post some reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
