Black Dog And Rebel Rose by Danielle D. Smith
A meltingly sexy hunter with rock star style. An insatiable seducer and lover of women.
Son of a human lady of the night and a True Native of Hell, he is a killer of the evils that dwell in darkness.
Fifty miles of bad road will lead him and his rumbling Harley to an abandoned town and the vampyre hunt of his dreams.
It is in the rot and the ruin that Skriker will discover his destiny.
A sizzling tryst will lead him to discover that Rose is his soul mate, the girl who will make him abandon his lustful ways and make him hunger for her alone.
But Skriker’s new beloved harbors an ironic secret.
A secret that may lead to a half-demon’s gruesome undoing…
*Publisher’s warning: this sordid tale contains sizzling explicit sex (including oral sex), foul language, bloody violence, and a half-demon bad boy who will utterly rock your world

My review: 4/5
There were a great many things I enjoyed about this story. I loved the main characters – two souls lost – one part demon, one part angel. Both hunters and the very best in their field. Both enigmatically sexy and sexual – so that their trysts were suitably hot!
I must confess – I knew I’d love it when I saw the art-work by Danielle, the author. Check out her stuff at her blog and face-book.
Only thing I would moan about was the edit could have been sharper. Regardless, I will recommend this marvellously entertaining book to horror and fantasy and romance readers alike. It had a bit of everything, and left me feeling a little invigorated actually. ;D
I’m definitely going to read the next in the series too! ;D
“This is not a meek and mild vampire love story but rather an edgy and graphic tale of hope. Hope that relative goodness will defeat evil and that we all have a soul mate out there just waiting for us.”

“I am honored to be present for the birthing of a fiction star. Danielle D. Smith is headed for the Hall of Greats with her gunshot-fast wit and storytelling style that sucks you in…” –Annee Pfau, Author of “Redemption: the Blood Curse”
“I had heard ‘talk’ about this book and I must say it did not disappoint… “–The Paranormal Romance Guild
“Black Dog and Rebel Rose…is the best Urban Fantasy love story I’ve ever read. (Skriker and Rose) are better than Bonnie and Clyde. Better than Bogart and Bacall. Better even than peanut butter and jelly.”
